Andrew Resnick

CTO

Andrew inspires Terradepth’s technical team to find or create the best solutions for our data collection operations. He draws on decades of experience in developing and supporting offshore services and products at companies ranging in size from four (Makai Ocean Engineering) to thousands (Oceaneering).

He has led and contributed to the development of 14 ROV/AUV systems and a terrestrial robot system for HAZMAT decontamination. His understanding of offshore requirements and respect for the opinions of the operators comes from offshore experience on surveys and large installations, as well as supporting 24/7 international operations of 12 different ROV/AUVs at subsea service providers (Oceaneering and Phoenix). Andrew has overseen engineering for 16 ROV equipment product lines (Forum) implementing a collaborative Product Life Management system and leading forensic analysis and solution implementations. He has a master’s degree in ocean engineering and has performed diving surveys to 180 FSW on scuba and 4400 FSW in submersibles. He is versatile leading and contributing to successful efforts from lithium ion batteries, to electro-mechanical equipment, to polymer formulation, to control software. Highly collaborative and intensely curious, Andrew believes in engineering trade-offs but not in compromises.
