Evan Martzial

VP of Business Development—Commercial Markets

Evan is an accomplished sales and business development leader in the marine industry with a track record of growing revenue, establishing and improving customer intimacy and strategic partnerships, and, as a result, enhancing market position.

With a degree in GIS & Cartography, Evan spent the early years of his career with Navionics where he traveled extensively to remote domestic and international locations to plan, execute, and deliver shallow water hydrographic surveys. As the Cartographic Product Manager, he served as a liaison between sales, marketing, operations, and production to ensure global cartographic project requirements were met.

After years of logging both airline and nautical miles, Evan moved to QPS to promote and demonstrate the range of QPS products and services in assigned territories and for key accounts. It was here that Evan gained extensive knowledge of the software side of the marine industry, but he was eager to develop his understanding of the hardware business. In 2015, Evan joined EdgeTech as their Bathymetric Product Line and Technical Sales Manager where he increased their market share while strengthening the brand name globally. During this time, Evan gained the full-scope view of his industry.

Venturing back to his roots of software once again, Evan rejoined the team at QPS to head their business development operations in the Americas where he achieved double-digit growth in his territory. The culmination of his background in GIS, hydrographic surveying, geophysical data acquisition and processing software, and sales leader has positioned Evan for his new role as VP of Business Development—Commercial Markets at Terradepth.
