Joe has over 20 years of engineering experience working in the marine and robotics field. As VP of R&D at Juliet Marine Systems, Inc., he led a team in the development of a novel Small Water-plane Area Twin Hull vessel.
After receiving MS degrees in Ocean Systems Management and Ocean Engineering from MIT, Joe founded Robotic Marine Systems to focus on marine autonomy. As a Research Engineer at the MIT Autonomous Underwater Vehicles Lab, Joe worked on the design of the early Odyssey class AUVs and led a team in the design and development of a specialized AUV for Lockheed-Martin.
