Raymond Ryan Beets

Lead Hydrographer

Ryan spent 15 years at Stennis Space Center in Mississippi working in several disciplines of physical science. There he worked for NOAA's National Data Buoy Center, and then the US Navy's Fleet Survey Team.

At NOAA he worked primarily as a data analyst for meteorological and oceanographic buoys, and part time countering buoy vandalism and IUU fishing. In 2015 he transitioned to the hydrographic sciences at Fleet Survey Team. There he executed hydrographic surveys with a wide range of assets including vessels of opportunity and unmanned systems.

He graduated from the University of Southern MS in 2017 with a Master's in Hydrographic Science, and the Unmanned Maritime Systems Tier One Certificate Program in 2018.

He is thrilled to join the team at Terradepth, and continue working towards solutions for familiar challenges and much more.

Ryan enjoys spending time with his family and friends, and is also a very casual volleyball enthusiast.
