Ross Johnson

Director of Product Management

Ross brings deep SaaS product management expertise to Terradepth with a career-long theme of building applications specializing in spatial data analysis.

He worked as a Geographic Information Systems analyst out of college and quickly moved into product management. Ross is a proven product leader, having delivered a variety of web and mobile applications.

Ross entered the residential solar industry early in his career where he scaled the first remote design team and owned the roadmap of the industry’s first application that used aerial imagery to create quotes without a home site visit. Later, at SunPower, he built applications to improve the residential sales process and cut costs from commercial installations.

While at Total, France’s largest company, Ross worked in Renewables Research & Development where he delivered a simulation engine to evaluate the economics of solar combined with generators in microgrids. Recently at Babylon Health, a London-based AI healthcare company, Ross managed the team that earned the company’s first revenue in the U.S. with the launch of a primary care diagnostic app on both Android and iOS.

Ross holds a BA in Geography from Dartmouth College, an MSc in Sustainable Business from Lund University (Sweden) and an MBA from the McCombs School of Business. A lifelong athlete, Ross spent three seasons competing professionally in the National Lacrosse League across the U.S. and Canada. He continues to play a variety of sports, loves to travel and enjoys all Austin has to offer with Terradepth’s resident sheepadoodle, Ragnar Doodlesson, by his side.
